If you don’t know who Tara Cochran is, you probably should. She’s been active in The Sport of Kings for a while now. Never one to pull punches Tara wrote her first blog for US Racing and we are sharing it at Past the Wire because it is a good one.
While Tara may be outspoken, which is not a bad thing, she is also an animal rescue advocate and activist who has had her hand in many success stories. That makes her a friend right there. I first got to know Tara briefly when she was The Paddock Girl at Gulfstream Park a few years back. It might have even been the tent meet or shortly thereafter.
