Tapit Goes Over 150 Million

December 17, 2019

On Dec. 15, the 18-year-old son of Pulpit became only the third North America-based stallion to be represented by at least $150 million in Northern Hemisphere progeny earnings for flat racing, and he’s done it with the fewest crops of racing age.

Tapit’s 5-year-old daughter Magical pushed him over the $150 million earnings mark after capturing her first black-type win by two lengths in the She’s All In Stakes at Remington Park. Magical, who is trained by Steve Asmussen and was ridden by Ricardo Santana Jr., earned $60,000 for the win.

Hustling through the horses while giving all the pertinent info is the right way to go, JS. Leaves plenty of time for any stories and wisdom you wish to get into.
