HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – There’s a million reasons to place a bet on Sunday’s 20-cent Rainbow 6 at Gulfstream Park.
The popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the 13th consecutive racing day Saturday, which means Sunday’s Rainbow 6 will have a guaranteed pool of $1 million.
Multiple tickets with all six winners Saturday were each worth $13,615.96.
The Rainbow 6 jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Sunday’s 11-race program has a first-race post of 12:35 p.m. The Rainbow 6 begins with the sixth race, a $75,000 maiden claimer at a mile on the turf. The sequence is scheduled to have five races on the turf.
Notes: Jockey Luis Saez won the third with Attachment Rate ($8.60), the fifth with Money Moves ($4.40) and Souper Jaguar ($5.20)…After scratches due to afternoon showers, Saturday’s 10th race was left with five starters, four of them by Quality Road…
Rainbow 6 Carryover: $1 million guaranteed
