ARCADIA, Calif.—The popular Seabiscuit Tram Tour is back at Santa Anita for the 2024 Autumn Meet which begins Friday, Sept. 27. The guided tour, which is free of charge, is offered every Saturday and Sunday (except for Sept. 28) and departs Clockers’ Corner at 9:45 a.m.

The Seabiscuit Tram Tour provides an in-depth look at where the legendary racehorse called home from 1937 to 1940. Tour-goers will receive a first-hand look at the Santa Anita stable area including the original barn and stall occupied by Seabiscuit, who raced 11 times at Santa Anita and famously won the 1940 Santa Anita Handicap. In addition, tour-goers will get to visit Santa Anita’s Paddock Gardens, receiving barn, and also the Silks Room and saddling paddock. The tour then continues with an informative stroll through the walking ring before concluding with a visit to Santa Anita’s carriage horses.

Free parking for the Seabiscuit Tram Tour is available through Gate 8 off Baldwin Avenue. With space being limited, reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 626-574-6384 or visiting www.santaanita.com/tramtour. If space is available, walkups are welcome. Reservations close at 4 p.m. the day prior of the tour. For more information, please visit www.santaanita.com.
