Online Contests Back For Autumn Meet

ARCADIA, Calif.—Santa Anita’s popular free online contests Santa Anita Pick ‘Em and ShowVivor will again be available to players everywhere beginning September 27.
Sports fans have the opportunity to win $1,000 every Saturday and Sunday in Santa Anita’s $12,000 Santa Anita Pick ’Em Contest. An online contest that mixes popular sports props including horse racing and football. Santa Anita Pick ’Em will be offered every Saturday and Sunday with $1,000 in prize money paid to the top winner of the Santa Anita Card offered for the following dates: Saturday, September 28, Sunday, September 29, Saturday, October 5, Sunday, October 6, Saturday, October 12, Sunday, October 13, Saturday, October 19, Sunday, October 20, Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27.
The current season long competition is between Saturday, September 28, 2024, through Sunday, October 27, 2024, and the player that has the most points in the season will receive $2,000. Entrants can win multiple prizes per contest period.
Every Santa Anita Pick ‘Em contest day the entrant can make one selection for each prop on the Santa Anita Card through the contest webpage https://pickem.santaanita.com.

Also returning for the Autumn season is horseplayer friendly ShowVivor. An online contest that takes place each live race day, where players can select one horse from one race in effort compete in the categories listed below. That horse must run no worse than third in order for the player to “ShowVive.” If the player’s selection fails to run 1-2-3, that individual is not totally eliminated, as he or she may start up a new streak the next racing day. You can go for one or all the categories, but you only get one daily selection.
SHOW STREAK – $2,500 PRIZE -The player that has the longest “show streak” at the end of the meet will win the grand prize of $2,500. A “show streak” is making consecutive selections that finish first, second or third. If you fail to make a selection your streak is still alive, but you will not receive credit for days missed.
WIN STREAK – $1,000 PRIZE – The player that has the longest “win streak” at the end of the meet will win $1,000. A “win streak” is making consecutive selections that finish first. If you fail to make a selection your streak is still alive, but you will not receive credit for days missed.
TOTAL WINS – $500 PRIZE – The player with the most total wins at the end of the meet wins this category.
HIGHEST SINGLE WIN PAYOUT – $500 PRIZE – The player with the single highest win payout ($2 Win Bet) over the course of the meet wins this category.
TOTAL WIN EARNINGS – $500 PRIZE – The player that accumulates the highest total dollar amount won based on their selections at the end of the meet wins this category. For example, each time an entrant’s selection finishes in first place in the official standings (Wins), the dollar amount, based on Santa Anita’s official $2 Win payout, will be added to that entrant’s total dollar amount won to date.
