Tim Ritvo stated the problems at Santa Anita are bigger than he thought and there were no fast or easy fixes.
While honesty is always appreciated his comments shows he was a bit out of touch with Gulfstream’s sister track as the issues there with field sizes, horse population, crazy steward rulings and alienated fans are nothing new,
Actually to the contrary it is old news. Tim is a good racing executive but he has his work cut out for him. That he was somewhat out of touch with the issues isn’t exactly encouraging.
