We are moving on to week 9 of attempting to qualify for the BCBC through feeder tournaments. I had a dream last night about a horse with wings, that can only mean that I qualify today and will be playing Pegasus races in a full qualifier. A man can dream. Let’s go to Santa Anita today, 8 races on the card, 8 winners incoming.
Race 1 – 6 Improbale U looks too tough in here at a short price. Only 8 races and likely not many entrants do you need to take all the money you can get.
Race 2 – 3 Smiling Tizzy has some dirt form in here can can compete with the top 2 favs.
Race 3 – 7 Angel Baby had a nice race at Del Mar in November, last out at SA had trouble, goes first lasix, blinkers off, I’ll take my chances with her.
Race 4 – 5 Ghostwritten is well bred with a decent trainer and decent jock.
Race 5 – 3 St Anthony has experience on the downhill turf, 6 Gran Oriente was intriguing but there’s a chance this horse may just suck.
Race 6 – 4 Twisted Humor has good figures first time out, if she improves she could blitz this field.
Race 7 – 5 Memetic late closer in a race with a lot of speed and a decent price.
Race 8 – 4 Geometry is only 4YO in a race with older, gets class relief, he could pop in here in the finale.
