ARCADIA, Calif.— With no winning tickets in Saturday’s $2 Pick Six at Santa Anita, a carryover of $53,273 will be up for grabs Sunday. First post on “Big Game” Sunday is 11 a.m. PT. The Pick Six starts with the fourth race at approximately 12:33 p.m. PT.

The carryover was triggered in Saturday’s 10th and final race when the only horse covered, One Time Mark, failed to deliver as the 8-5 favorite. The only winning favorite in the sequence came in the opening leg with Certitude ($5.40), who was ridden by Vincent Cheminaud for trainer John Sadler.

The consolation payout for tickets with 5-of-6 winners was $11,415.60.

The winning horses in Saturday’s Pick Six beginning with the fifth race were #1 Certitude ($5.40), #7 Twilight Empire ($7), #2 There Goes Harvard ($11.20), #3 Wishtheyallcouldbe ($43.20), #8 Tam’s Little Angel ($35.80) and #8 Belmont Bill ($29).

Sunday’s Pick Six pool is estimated to approach $500,000. Entries are now available at santaanita.com.

One of the best articles on the state of emergency of our industry. Hits the nail on the head. If we want to save racing we must band together and actively work to save it. If we want the industry to die...we can continue with what we're doing.
