ARCADIA, Calif.— With no winning tickets in Saturday’s $2 Pick Six at Santa Anita, a carryover of $53,273 will be up for grabs Sunday. First post on “Big Game” Sunday is 11 a.m. PT. The Pick Six starts with the fourth race at approximately 12:33 p.m. PT.
The carryover was triggered in Saturday’s 10th and final race when the only horse covered, One Time Mark, failed to deliver as the 8-5 favorite. The only winning favorite in the sequence came in the opening leg with Certitude ($5.40), who was ridden by Vincent Cheminaud for trainer John Sadler.
The consolation payout for tickets with 5-of-6 winners was $11,415.60.
The winning horses in Saturday’s Pick Six beginning with the fifth race were #1 Certitude ($5.40), #7 Twilight Empire ($7), #2 There Goes Harvard ($11.20), #3 Wishtheyallcouldbe ($43.20), #8 Tam’s Little Angel ($35.80) and #8 Belmont Bill ($29).
Sunday’s Pick Six pool is estimated to approach $500,000. Entries are now available at santaanita.com.
