Not This Time Filly, who topped the 2nd session of the July Sale
The Supplemental Catalog for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2020 October Sale is now available via the OBS website at obssales.com and available in printed form at the OBS sales grounds on or about Wednesday, October 7th. The two-day sale is set for Tuesday and Wednesday, October 13th and 14th.
Three two-year-olds and two Horses of Racing Age have been supplemented to the two-day sale, and will sell as Hip No.’s 55 – 59. Twenty-seven Selected Yearling have been supplemented and will sell as Hip No.’s 243 – 269. Twenty-eight horses have been added to the Open Yearling Sale, selling as Hip No.’s 694 – 721.
The sale begins Tuesday, October 13th at 12 noon with the Two-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age section, cataloged as Hip No.’s 1 – 59. The Selected Yearling Sale begins immediately following the Horses of Racing Age, selling as Hip No.’s 101 – 269. The Open Yearling Sale, now cataloged as Hip No.’s 301 – 721, is set for Wednesday, October 14th and will begin at 10:30 a.m.
The Under Tack Show for the Two-Year-Olds and Horses of Racing Age is set for Sunday, October 11th and will start at 10:00 a.m.
The Under Tack Show and Sale will be streamed live via the OBS website as well as the DRF, TDN, BloodHorse and Past The Wire websites.
OBS will again offer Online Bidding during the October Sale. Buyers will be able to go to the OBS website and register to gain bidding approval, then access the OBS Bidding Screen with their credentials. The online catalog’s main page contains a link to a sort-able master index providing searchable pedigree and consignor information as well as access to pedigree updates occurring since the catalog was printed.
The sort-able master index has advanced search and filter capability and allows shortlist creation. A link to instructions for using these features can be found in the index header and a step by step tutorial is available in the index as well.
The iPad version of the catalog can be accessed via the equineline Sales Catalog App. The App allows users to download and view the catalog, receive updates and results, record notes and also provides innovative search, sort and rating capability. Sales results will be available on the OBS website, updated frequently during each session of the Sale.
