The 2021 OBS June Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training & Horses of Racing Age is set for today through Friday, June 9th – 11th with all sessions beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Hip No’s 1- 316 will be sold on Wednesday, Hip No’s 317- 632 will be offered Thursday and Hip No.’s 633 – 927 will sell on Friday. The catalog is available in the OBS website at obssales.com and in printed form at the sales grounds. Hip No.’s 1 – 874 are in the main book, Supplements 875 – 927 are in a separate catalog.
Hip No. 573, a daughter of Shackleford consigned by Navas Equine, worked a quarter in :20 3/5 at Saturday’s Under Tack session to post the sale’s fastest work at the distance. The bay filly is out of Moondancer, by Cuvee, from the family of grade one stakes winner Kitten’s Dumplings. Hip No. 393’s quarter in :20 4/5 was Friday’s fastest at the distance. The son of Arrogate consigned by Top Line Sales LLC, Agent, is a dark bay or brown colt out of stakes winner Hero’s Amor, by Street Sense, a full sister to graded stakes placed stakes winner Threefiveindia.
Videos from the five Under Tack sessions are posted online at obssales.com as well as viewable on site via video kiosks located around the sales pavilion. OBS will again offer Online Bidding during the June Sale. Buyers will be able to go to the OBS website and register to gain bidding approval, then access the OBS Bidding Screen with their credentials.
