ELMONT, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced a watch party for the Grade 1, $2 million Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets on Saturday, June 8.
The event will be held at Northwell Presents The Park at UBS Arena, which was unveiled in December to create a community space featuring two outdoor hockey rinks and a variety of amenities. Northwell Presents The Park at UBS Arena is located in the Belmont Park backyard adjacent to UBS Arena.
The Belmont Stakes Watch Party, where guests are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Triple Crown attire, will open at 1 p.m. and is free of charge, with complimentary parking available in the Ruby and Silver Lots. Family friendly activities will include mini golf, an obstacle course, bounce house and a dunk tank all available on a first come first served basis. Guests are permitted to bring folding chairs. The classic Belmont Jewel signature drink will also be for sale.
Although tickets are not required, guests planning on attending should RSVP at Watch Party.
Post time for the 14-race Belmont Stakes Day program is 10:45 a.m. The Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets will air on FOX with an approximate post time of 6:40 p.m. All races will be shown live at the Belmont Stakes Watch Party with screens located throughout The Park.

The blockbuster Belmont Stakes Day at Saratoga on Saturday, June 8 will include six Grade 1 events among nine stakes races in total and feature three Breeders’ Cup “Win And You’re In” qualifiers: the Grade 1, $1 million Hill ‘N’ Dale Metropolitan Handicap [Dirt Mile]; the Grade 1, $500,000 Ogden Phipps presented by Ford [Distaff]; and the Grade 1, $500,000 Jaipur presented by Resolute Racing [Turf Sprint]. In addition, the prestigious Grade 1 races on Belmont Stakes Day will include the $1 million Resorts World Casino Manhattan, and the $500,000 Woody Stephens presented by Mohegan Sun.
The lucrative card also offers the Grade 2, $350,000 Suburban; the Grade 2, $350,000 True North presented by F.W. Webb; and the Grade 3, $350,000 Poker.
Highlighted by the 156th edition of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 8, the 2024 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will begin on Thursday, June 6 and continue through Sunday, June 9. The four-day Festival will be held at Saratoga Race Course in 2024 to allow for the uninterrupted construction of a new Belmont Park, the Long Island home of the third leg of the Triple Crown.
