If you are a Past the Wire reader, TRACKING TRIPS member, or listen to me on It’s Post Time with JJ and Samm every week, or Switching Leads with Dina Alborano and Steve Haskin, or Racetrackers with Bill Gottimer when I was on that show too, then you know I was high on Cloud Computing for a while now.
Steve, Dina and I spoke to Chad Brown in depth about him prior to The Wood Memorial, when he was our guest on the show, and that only made me like him even more. I felt by mid-year Cloud Computing and the ill fated Reach the World would be the best of this crop of three-year olds.
Cloud Computing is helping prove me right which is always fun. Reach the World would have too, but sadly never got the chance. I liked Chad Brown skipping The Derby and pointing for The Preakness even though “new shooters” haven’t exactly had the best record in The Preakness in say the last 25-30 years.
Statistics can be deceiving, and every race, horse, and year is different. Congratulations to Chad and his team and Cloud Computing on a beautiful Preakness and Classic Triple Crown race win. You can see a lot of what I wrote about Cloud Computing earlier in previous articles in our Latest Racing News section.
