On the big day there have been quite a few scratches. The most notable, of course, was possible future Horse of the Year Sovereignty out of the Classic.
Today, it was announced that Kenny McPeek trainee Mystk Dan was a vet scratch from the Dirt Mile and daughter of Beholder, Tamara, trained by Richard Mandella, is out of the Filly & Mare Sprint along previously announced with Fee Blanche and Sweet Azteca.
