NHC and BCBC seats, as well as cash prizes, up for grabs

OCEANPORT, N.J.—Monmouth Park will host a $500 Handicapping contest on Saturday, Aug. 2, that will be available to players either on site or online, offering NHC and BCBC seats as well as cash prizes. The entry fee is $250, with the remaining $250 serving as the contest bankroll.
Online options are TVG, 4NJBETS and Xpressbet. For TVG and 4NJBETS online players, pre-registration ends at 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1. Xpressbet players can register through 12:50 p.m. on Saturday.
For those on site, registration will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first floor of the Clubhouse.
Contest races are limited to Saratoga and Monmouth Park, with players required to bet a minimum of five (5) Monmouth Park races at a minimum of $50 apiece. The wagering menu consists of win, place, show, exacta and Daily Double.
Based on 200 entries, the total prize pool will consist of 2 NHC seats, 2 BCBC seats and $20,000 cash. The Top 4 finishers, in order, will select between an NHC and a BCBC seat. Cash prizes will be awarded to the Top 10 finishers.
