Marshall Gramm has voluntarily accepted a provisional suspension of his Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority registration, effective August 23, while charges against him remain pending, a HISA spokesperson confirmed Monday. The suspension relates to two enforcement cases: one alleging unauthorized access and use of confidential veterinary records under HISA Rule 2251, and a second alleging fraud under Rule 8100(h). HISA previously alleged that Gramm accessed confidential horse-health information through its portal during a six-week period beginning in May and used that information to produce past performances for horses with which he had no legitimate connection. Gramm has disputed aspects of HISA’s allegations and maintained that he accessed the information using his own authorized credentials.
