When the stars align, and you have a star team at hand, magical things can happen.

The dedicated team at LNJ Foxwoods has brought home five wins in seven days in four different countries at five different racetracks on three continents.

A monumental task of logistics and details organized by a tight team no matter how far apart they may be.

The group who brought us the amazing Covfefe, Grade 1, Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mares Sprint champ who broke the track record at Pimlico Race Course at 6 furlongs on the dirt winning the Grade 1, Adena Springs Miss Preakness in 2019. The mare’s record of 1:07.70 still stands and will remain in perpetuity for history as Pimlico goes through transitions.

Then there was United who hit the board 15 times in his 22 career starts with 10 wins and $1813,549 in earnings.

This year, LNJ Foxwoods has an accomplished string of runners, and the team knows how to pick the right venue and trainer to bring out the best in their horses.

Having a banner year at Woodbine with trainer Josie Carroll, the team’s Spinzar rolled to victory for Carroll giving the trainer her 1000th career victory.

Meanwhile, Eclipse Award winner Brad Cox was busy with two of the team’s charges as Ellen Jay at Ellis Park and Mixologist at Saratoga Race Course brought it home for the team.

Across the pond Future Fate ran gamely in France while the lovely Lilac scored for the team down under in New South Wales.

Ellen Jay, (El En Jay-get it?) who just happens to be the 3-year-old homebred daughter of Covfefe (by Into Mischief), was coming off a maiden victory also at Ellis.

On Saturday, August 10th, breaking from post 3 Ellen Jay set an opening quarter of 21.46 and followed that up with a split of 22:32 with a final time of 1:00.73, for the 5-1/2-furlong turf contest, just 47/100th of a second off the track record set by Totally Boss the year Covfefe set her record at Pimlico.

The Constitution bay roared to a 5-3/4 length victory under Florent Geroux in a pretty hearty field of 12. She boosted her speed to a high of Equibase Speed Figure 90!

The following day up in Toronto, Ontario, Spinzar, a 4-year-old gray gelding by Tapit out of Medaglia d’Oro mare Fleet of Gold took it on the turf for a 1-1/4 miles stretch.

Under Luis Contreras Spinzar took control and held that position keenly to a 3/4 length victory in a $100,000 Allowance Option Claiming race.

An LNJ Foxwoods homebred in partnership with Tapit Syndicate, Spinzar has an impeccable pedigree.

Another LNJ gray, Mixologist picked up the action for the team Friday, August 16th at Saratoga in a 1-1/16 mile turf challenge.

Under Joel Rosario Mixologist settled just off the inside into the backstretch, tipped three wide through the far turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole.

Angling out seven wide into upper stretch, the colt dug in under a drive issuing a challenge through the final furlong but was ultimately repelled to the finish by 1/2 a length. However, the team was elevated to the win with when Vino Rouge was disqualified from first and placed fourth for interfering with Wrigleyville prior to the race being declared official.

Bred in Kentucky by John and Susan Moore, the filly is by Frosted out of Masquerade mare, Japanese-bred Silent Name. It was her second win in three starts.

Future Fate scored for LNJ Foxwoods at Deauville in Chantilly, France on the poly track going 1 mile-1ft10yds on Saturday, August 17th for trainer Tim Donworth under Cristian Demuro.

A British-bred homebred by LNJ Foxwoods, Future Fate was sired by the standout Irish stallion Dubawi out of Resolute’s Choice (AUS) mare Golden Attitude (USA).

Trained by the team of Rob and Annabel Neasham and Archibald, Lilac won at Wyong in New South Wales, Australia Sunday morning, August 18th, under jockey James McDonald defeating Embasy is a chase to the finish.

The filly broke her maiden in the Lizzie Jelfs Punters Club Maiden Plate at 1200m going gate-to-wire.
