LEINSTER – Four-Time Graded Stakes Winner and Two-Time Track Record Setter – Relocates to Mountain View Farm in
New York for the 2026 Breeding Season

Gansevoort, New York USANovember 20, 2025 – Mountain View Farm proudly welcomes LEINSTER (Majestic Warrior – Vassar, by Royal Academy) to its stallion roster. The accomplished turf sprinter, who set two track records during his racing career in graded events, will stand for the 2026 breeding season at $7,500.

After four successful breeding seasons in Florida—including 111 mares bred in 2025—LEINSTER has relocated to Saratoga County, bringing his proven pedigree and exceptional first-crop performance to the Empire State.

EXCEPTIONAL FIRST-CROP PERFORMANCE

LEINSTER’s inaugural crop has demonstrated remarkable success both nationally and internationally, earning him three prestigious current #1 rankings:

  • #1 2025 1st-Crop Sire by Progeny Earnings in New York*
  • #1 2025 1st-Crop Sire by % Black Type Performers in North America*
  • #1 2025 1st-Crop Sire by Average Earnings per Runner in North America*

STANDOUT PROGENY

LEINSTER’s first crop has produced multiple stakes wins and multiple stakes-placed performers:

  • LENNILU (FL) – This standout filly has captured three stakes victories: the Royal Palm Juvenile Fillies Stakes, FTBOA Florida Sire Desert Vixen Stakes, and the Leinster Hollywood Beach Stakes. She traveled overseas and placed 3rd in the highly prestigious Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot, finishing ahead of some of the fastest and most promising juvenile female sprinters in the world.
  • MONSTER (FL) – 2X stakes-placed, finishing 2nd in the Skidmore Stakes at Saratoga and 3rd in the Leinster Hollywood Beach Stakes at Gulfstream Park.
  • SQUIRE (FL) – 2X stakes-placed, finishing 2nd in both the Royal Palm Juvenile Stakes and Florida Sire Affirmed Stakes.

“LEINSTER is an exceptional addition to the stallion barn at Mountain View Farm,” said Mountain View Farm Manager and Partner David Cannizzo. “He was a world-class turf sprinter who set two blazing track records in graded stakes and earned four triple-digit Beyer Speed Figures. With credentials like these—combined with his undeniable first-crop success—we knew he would be an invaluable asset to New York breeders. His ability to pass on elite speed makes him exactly what our breeding program needs.”

RACING CAREER

Out of the ROYAL ACADEMY champion-producing mare Vassar, LEINSTER is a half-brother to two-time Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint winner STORMY LIBERAL, the 2018 Eclipse Award Champion Turf Male. In 2019, LEINSTER decisively defeated his decorated half-brother in the Gr.3 Runhappy Turf Sprint at Kentucky Downs over six furlongs.

LEINSTER’s speed and consistency defined his career. In the 2019 Gr.3 Troy Stakes at Saratoga, he defeated multiple graded stakes winners DISCO PARTNER—a world record setter—and PURE SENSATION, while setting a new track record of 1:00.23 for 5½ furlongs on the Mellon Turf Course, ultimately shattering LADY SHIPMAN’s 2015 mark of 1:00.46.

The Rusty Arnold trainee went on to set a Keeneland course record in the Gr.2 Shakertown Stakes, covering 5½ furlongs in 1:00.86.

LEINSTER capped his impressive career by winning the Gr.2 Woodford Stakes at Keeneland after finishing second in the same race the previous year. He then placed 3rd in the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint, beating the sensational multiple Gr.1 winner GOT STORMY. In his final campaign, LEINSTER finished in style by capturing the Gr.3 Gulfstream Park Turf Sprint Stakes.

PEDIGREE

LEINSTER’s sire, MAJESTIC WARRIOR (A.P. Indy – Dream Supreme, by Seeking the Gold), immediately excelled for his late owner, breeder, and New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner. MAJESTIC WARRIOR, emerged in the competitive 2-year-old ranks at Saratoga in 2007, winning his 6½-furlong debut by 3½ lengths. In his subsequent start, he rallied to take the Gr.1 Hopeful Stakes by 2¼ lengths.

LEINSTER joins 2020 Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf winner FIRE AT WILL (Declaration of War – Flirt, by Kitten’s Joy) on the growing stallion roster at Mountain View Farm. FIRE AT WILL also won the With Anticipation Stakes and the Gr.2 Pilgrim Stakes at two and placed 3rd in the Gr.3 Kentucky Utilities Transylvania Stakes in his final campaign at three.
