While Justify has looked visually impressive in his two wins to date, and ran fast over a very fast wet surface in his most recent triumph, the fact remains he is without points to get in the Kentucky Derby and has yet to face the better three-year olds in this crop.
Based on that vaulting him to the top of the list seems a tad premature at best. That is not to say he can’t wind up there, but there is no benefit in handing him the blanket of roses now.
