ARCADIA, Calif.—Santa Anita’s Hollywood Meet kicked off Friday producing a hefty $49,398 carryover in the $1 Pick 6 for horseplayers Saturday. There were 46 consolation tickets with five winners on Friday, each returning a payoff of $460. The Pick 6 pool Saturday is estimated to approach the $400,000 mark.
With first post for a 10-race card at 1 p.m., Saturday’s Pick Six will cover races five through ten. Approximate post time for race five is 3 p.m. PT. Included in the sequence are the GIII Californian Stakes with budding star Judge Miller and the GIII Providencia Stakes with undefeated 3-year-old filly Medoro.
Friday’s winning numbers and $2 win mutuels were as follows: R4, #7 ($18.60); R5, #6 ($6.60); R6, #5 ($9.00); R7, #2 ($14.40); R8, #6 ($9.80) and R9, #7 ($11.20).
