It really is laughable at this point: We can’t seem to time races properly, and so much of our sport and handicapping is based on time. Apparently the timing in “some” of the Breeders’ Cup races is wrong. Del Mar’s GMax timing system blew it on at Least three Breeders’ Cup races and Equibase has revised the final times of three races. It gets worse, the GPS times splits for the Distaff and Classic are wrong as well. I guess they will be ahem adjusted. This is the same chicklet GPS system that showed 7-2 odds on #1 Modern Games who was scratched and then allowed to run for purse money only in the Turf Juvenile on Friday…..eeeek
