High Five / Low Five
High Five!
High Five Tiz the Law, Sackatoga Stable, Manny Franco and of course Barclay Tagg and his staff! They annihilated The Travers Stakes and won off the screen under wraps. It’s Louisville for them! High Five Gamine, Bob Baffert, Johnny V and her connections. She won The Test Stakes like she could have come back and run in The Travers.
Low Five!
Whether you agree with the calls or not, you can’t argue against the inconsistency and subjectiveness when it comes to disqualifications. Category 1, Category 2, it’s all nonsense and we can never agree. It’s either a foul or it isn’t, and that we can agree on. A foul is a DQ, old school. The other alternative is no DQ, just fine and suspend the culprits but the result stands. Low Five, NYRA Stewards, and both Category 1 and Category 2.
High Five!
What can you say, Improbable in The Whitney and across the country Thousand Words in the Shared Belief. Bob Baffert, the man always comes to run. High Five!
