High Five / Low Five
Low Five!
Low Five the rain….messing up the Spa, and even hitting Del Mar. Anyone in for retractable roof racetracks?
High Five!
HIGH FIVES to Hot Rod Charlie and Mandaloun who despite the incident which fortunately turned out OK, really threw it down in the Haskell…..that was a nice effort from both these two top three year olds!
High Five!
HIGH FIVE Golden Pal and all the connections, he came back Golden in the Quick Call opening day at the Spa. HIGH FIVE Pretty Birdie and all her connections. She took them gate to wire in the Schuylerville in the colors of dearly departed Marylou Whitney.
Low Five!
RIP Gentleman John Rotz, a great rider and long time NYRA Steward.
High Five!
Saratoga, opening day 2021. HIGH FIVE and have a great meet!
High Five!
Big High Fives to Aidan O’Brien, Ryan Moore who was cool hand Luke in the saddle today, Santa, Barbara, Bolshoi Ballet, and all the Coolmore, Ballydoyle connections! They came in and took the Belmont Oaks and Belmont Derby in a sweep of the two big events. Nice job NYRA and Marty Panza as well.
Low Five!
RIP Champion Galileo. You will be missed by many 🙏
Low Five!
A big LOW FIVE to the NYRA Stewards and even the starter. How Work Out was allowed to race, albeit in an already small field is beyond us. The owner was hosed, all the connections and of course the bettors. And as an FYI when a horse is permitted to run but can’t run their race because they ran off prior to the start…it affects everything in that race. Pace, position, trip, everything. Do better. That was a disgrace!
High Five!
St Mark’s Bascilia, a three year old from Ballydoyle and Aidan O’ Brien under Ryan Moore, made mincemeat out of three classy rivals in Mishriff, Addeybb and El Drama spurting away to win the Group 1 Coral Eclipse at Sandown. Bravo, that was one nice race he ran! High Five all the connections.
