The 2024 #TBMakeover Is in TWO WEEKS!

LEXINGTON, Ky.—Are you excited for the biggest celebration in Thoroughbred aftercare? WE SURE ARE!

The 2024 Thoroughbred Makeover and National Symposium, presented by Thoroughbred Charities of America, takes place at the Kentucky Horse Park on October 9-12. We’re preparing to over 300 recently retired ex-racehorses and former broodmares to celebrate their transition to careers beyond racing. Plus, we’ll have plenty of additional educational and networking opportunities for Thoroughbred enthusiasts as well.

Please note: there is no livestream of the Finale this year. Video recordings of Finale rounds will be posted to the RRP’s YouTube channel by November.

Stabling: Stalls are reserved via the RRP in August. Stalls are 10X10’ with wooden walls, concrete floors, and full-height permanent doors. Stalls may be bedded with biodegradable materials such as shavings, straw, pellets, etc. Stripping of stalls is not required. Participants are responsible for supplying their own stabling supplies and equipment and inspecting their stall upon arrival for any safety hazards.

The Kentucky Horse Park prohibits the use of full-size off-road vehicles (ATVs, mules, 4-wheelers, 3-wheelers, and dirt bikes). Self-owned mini-dirt bikes, golf carts, bikes (including electric bikes), Segways, and scooters, etc. are permitted.

Exciting Changes Planned for 2025 Makeover
