Due To Excessive Heat Index Forecast
Entire card transferred to Monday, July 8
WILMINGTON, Del.—Acting upon the recommendation of the Delaware Thoroughbred Racing Commission (DTRC) veterinarians and stewards, Delaware Park has cancelled the live racing card scheduled for today due to the excessive heat index forecasted by the National Weather Service to be at or above 105º for the region.
The entire live racing card scheduled for today, Saturday, July 6, will be transferred to Monday, July 8.
Live racing is scheduled to resume tomorrow, Sunday July 7. First race post time is 12:30 p.m.
