LEXINGTON, Ky. – Keeneland has announced that a colt by Speightstown, who is a half-brother to Grade 2 winner My Majestic Rose and from the family of impressive 2022 juvenile maiden winner Newgate, has been supplemented to the 2022 September Yearling Sale and is scheduled to sell Sept. 12 on opening day of Book 1.
St George Sales, agent, consigns the colt, Hip 182, who is out of the winning Pleasant Tap mare Victory On Tap. He also is from the family of Canadian Grade 3 winner Victress.
Victory On Tap is a half-sister to Majestic Presence, the graded stakes-placed dam of Newgate. A colt by Into Mischief, Newgate won his career debut by 3½ lengths July 30 at Del Mar.
A total of 4,152 horses have been cataloged to the September Sale, which covers 12 sessions from Sept. 12-24. Click here for the auction’s online catalog, which will include walking videos and photographs of yearlings and links to each consignor’s website.
