It was nice to see the somewhat unlucky Calculator get back to the winner’s circle. A great job by trainer Peter Miller, and some help from a heady aggressive ride on the part of Norberto Arroyo.
There s a link to the race in the article, and if you want to see some nifty race riding that made a difference, watch Norberto on the big gray when they turn for home and he decides to go for the inside hole in a split second reaction.
Calculator is going to be pointed to some of the nice grass mile races and it looks like that is fine with him.
