LEXINGTON, Ky. ― FanDuel TV will host the live announcement of the pre-entered fields for the 2025 Breeders’ Cup World Championships on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET, it was announced today. The pre-entered fields will also be available on the Breeders’ Cup website, official Mobile App, and Facebook, X, and YouTube channels.
The 42nd Breeders’ Cup World Championships will be held at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club on Oct. 31-Nov. 1. Consisting of 14 races with purses and awards totaling more than $34 million the Breeders’ Cup will again attract top horses and their connections from around the globe to majestic Del Mar on the shores of the Pacific Ocean for an outstanding two-day international showcase of Thoroughbred racing.
The pre-entry announcement will be hosted by FanDuel TV talent Christina Blacker and Todd Schrupp.
Pre-entry is the first of a two-step process for all owners intending to start a contender in one of the 14 Breeders’ Cup World Championships races. The entry stage then takes place on Monday, Oct. 27, when post positions are also drawn.
