Arrogate worked in 49 and change at Santa Anita under Raphael Bejarano and both the rider and Bob Baffert were pleased with how he went. He is still being pointed towards the Breeders’ Cup Classic, but Bob says he is week to week and work to work on whether or not he runs.
The horse did not seem to like the Del Mar track and unfortunately for him the Breeders’ Cup is there this year. It will be interesting if Bob can get him back to the Arrogate we know over that track. I do have a feeling we will get to find out.
