Angel Cordero was perhaps the best race rider ever. He could push the envelope further than anyone. He’d ride his horse and maybe two or three other contenders at the same time. He knew what every horse and rider were doing and what they were going to do. His fierce competitive nature combined with his superior athletic ability in the saddle helped make him one of the best to ever get a leg up. Check out Angel describe his Whitney win on Slew O’ Gold.
