It wasn’t uneventful, but it didn’t matter.
When it counted, Unique Bella proved best and showed her talent and class. She brushed off the challenge of Abel Tasman in the Santa Ysabel.
The real story here is in the post race comments of both Joe Talamo and Mike Smith. I think they show how talented Unique Bella is.
There has been talk of both these fillies going after colts in the near future. I am not a fan of either doing that but that is another discussion for another day.
