If you are not at Gulfstream this winter, the other option that is most attractive is the great race place Santa Anita, also a Stronach track.
With Tim Ritvo now stationed there Santa Anita was somehow able to combat their small field and horse shortage problem by attracting some new barns. George Weaver will have horses there as will Robert Falcone Jr. Jimmy Jerkens, and others have been mentioned as well.
Santa Anita should be a great meet and if nothing else you can count on big pools and fast and firm conditions.
