Love Runs Off With Investec Oaks

July 4, 2020

Love was nothing short of awesome in the Investec Oaks at Epsom Downs. She ran away and hid from the field and looked like she could have done another lap under jockey Ryan Moore.

Frankly Darling and Frankie Dettori tried to rally with Love with both fillies coming from well off the pace but could not keep up and wound up a well beaten third. Ennistymon got up for second. Passion and Tiempo Vuelo set the pace racing well out in front of the field but both weakened as the pack came calling after the last turn.

Love became the 49th filly to complete the QIPCO 1000 Guineas/Investec Oaks double and Betfair and Paddy Power cut her to 5/1 (from 20s) for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.

I don't have much of a platform so I always feel funny promoting others, but @PastTheWire is the best in the business. I can only aspire to be as informative and gracious as these gentlemen are to me and other horse players
