Kiaran McLaughlin to Leave Training and Become Agent for Luis Saez

March 4, 2020

It is no secret Kiaran McLaughlin had become frustrated with training racehorses, and all that goes along with it. Kiaran was an extremely successful trainer for top barns and of top horses but recently cited frustrations as the reason he was opting to leave his longtime home base of New York. Kiaran is one of the New York trainers fined by the New York Department of Labor for violations. His fine was $304,646.00. Kiaran was planning on wintering in Florida as he had done for a long time and then splitting his stable between Monmouth Park and Kentucky.

Apparently there has been a change in plans. A rumor was circulating on the Gulfstream Park backside that McLaughlin was going to take the book of jockey Luis Saez and now that rumor has been confirmed. McLaughlin will leave his accomplished training career to take the book of Luis Saez. Kiaran is a fine horseman, and a gentleman, and we wish him continued success in his new endeavor.

Fear the cowboy??? No-fear @jonathanstettin and @Tracking_Trips!! By my count that's 3 nice ones today💰💰💰👍🏻 (and one more to go!!)
