Jackpot Hi-5 Mandatory Payout Announced for Saturday’s Grade 1 Stakes Card

September 16, 2021

TORONTO, September 15, 2021 – Woodbine Entertainment today announced a mandatory payout for the Jackpot Hi-5 on this Saturday’s (September 18) stellar card featuring a pair of Grade 1 stakes, the Ricoh Woodbine Mile and Pattison Canadian International, at Woodbine Racetrack.

The carryover of $299,782.22 is now frozen until Saturday, so wagering on the Jackpot Hi-5 will not be offered on Thursday or Friday’s cards.

The Jackpot Hi-5 requires horseplayers to select the top-five finishers in order. A horseplayer can only win the entire jackpot if they hold the only winning ticket for that day’s wager. If there are multiple winning tickets, half the pool is paid out, while the other half is added to the carryover.

Post time for Saturday’s (September 18) card is 1:10 p.m. The Jackpot Hi-5 mandatory payout will be offered on the matinee’s final race.
