Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf

I don’t know what happened or why in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf, but I have never seen a horse declared a scratch after a gate incident, then allowed to run for purse money only, then win and the bettors who had him were moved to the losing favorite……huh
