The first session of the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Yearlings Sale at Timonium closed with the sale of a Jump Start colt for $130,000. For the day, there were 102 yearlings sold for a total of $2,680,000, up from the 2018 total of $2,384,700 for 103 yearlings sold. The average per horse was $26,275, up from the previous year’s figure of $23,152. Hip# 151 through #435 will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
