Dream Tree in foal to Into Mischief

March 10, 2021

Phoenix Thoroughbreds’ Grade One-winning mare Dream Tree has scanned in foal to Into Mischief. The happy news confirms the Starlet Stakes winner’s second pregnancy with the daughter of Uncle Mo, an already proud mother of a stunning Curlin filly. The arrival of Dream Tree’s first foal marked a significant moment for Phoenix Thoroughbreds’ global breeding operation. She was the first G1 winner to join the team’s broodmare band, she has since been followed by Loving Gaby in Australia, and with her connections more than delighted with the result of her mating with Curlin, hopes are high for her latest union.

“The news that Dream Tree’s in foal to Into Mischief has put a smile on everyone’s face at Phoenix,” said Phoenix Thoroughbreds CEO Amer Abdulaziz. “Her first foal from Curlin is a gorgeous filly and has proved very popular on our social media channels. We wanted to give Dream Tree every chance of producing another top quality foal, which is why we chose to go Into Mischief; it is a fascinating match.” Phoenix Thoroughbreds breeding arm continues to enjoy success globally. In Australia, A Very Fine Red’s victory over the weekend chalked up another win for the G1 winning breeders.

Another of their Southern Hemisphere bred fillies, Angelic Scent, added some black type to her CV in the Morphettville Guineas on Monday. Meanwhile, the group’s social media feeds post almost daily news of well-bred foals taking their first steps in the world and with plenty more on the way. Just as exciting for Phoenix is seeing the first progeny of co-owned three times G1 winning stallion Advertise on the ground this year. They can also look forward to the offspring of another co-owned stallion, Aclaim, hitting the track for the first time in what is likely to be an excellent year for their breeding aspirations.
