Most of us know Tampa Bay Downs dirt track plays quirky and is different than a lot of dirt tracks across the country. It is known as a surface that can be tiring, but also a track where horses can get very fit. It is one of our favorite angles on Tracking Trips and Jonathan Stettin has been playing horses coming off not only the Tampa Bay dirt, but also the turf course as well. many of the top turf trainers at Gulfstream Park like Chad Brown and Christophe Clement send horses to run on the Tampa turf, why?
