2017 Eclipse Awards Offer No Surprises

There were no real surprises in the 2017 Eclipse Awards last night. As expected Gun Runner took Horse of the Year honors, and rightfully so. The connections of Bolt D’ Oro and Rushing Falls have legitimate gripes, especially Rushing Falls, but considering the voting process, voters, and some of the past votes you really can’t be surprised or place much importance on it.
