Lucas Sigurdson

September 5, 2022

Lucas Sigurdson first discovered his love for thoroughbred racing as a young kid, at the local harness track with his grandfather. While his childhood dreams of being a jockey were dashed on the account of being “too tall,” Lucas remains an avid handicapper to this day. A longtime writer and photographer, Lucas holds a BFA in Digital and Photographic Arts from the University of Toledo (Ohio), and currently works professionally in digital marketing and communications. Brand new to the behind-the-scenes of thoroughbred racing, Lucas is excited to dive in, sharing his thoughts and observations on all things racing.
