Jockey Nik Juarez has been suspended for 15 days by New York stewards. Juarez was disqualified from seventh to last in Saturday’s Grade 2 Wood Memorial, when he and his mount Joevia cut over to the rail from the far outside post position and impeded several riders. Juarez was also fined $2,500 for the foul. The incident was clearly visible to most watching the race, especially from the head on view. Tacitus, the eventual winner, took the worst of it.
