Jockey Profiles

Past The Wire is proud to showcase top jockey’s from around the United States with a short bio on who they are and where they came from. Besides the horse and trainer the jockey can make or break a race as they are the pilot. Being a jockey requires tremendous strength and determination as well as many sacrifices. The sport of horse racing is the only sport in the world where the athlete is followed around by an ambulance. Horse racing is by far one of the most dangerous professions in the world. We can’t think of any other athlete in the world that competes in a sport mixed with having to make split second decisions coupled with the inherent dangers these jockey’s face each time the have a mount.

Past The Wire salutes all jockey’s everywhere across America and around the world as we recognize the sacrifices they make on a daily basis. Some of them come from natural talent and ability while others graduate from top jockey schools. This page will be updated on a constant basis while we add other profiles in. Thanks for visiting!
